Although we always see our share of seasonal insects, the year 2010 has been marked by a particularly high presence of earwigs.
This insect, especially visible in June, is definitely the most prominent one these days!
A high volume of service calls suggests that this will be a significant year for them. In fact, some media outlets have even made headlines about it.
We would like to remind you that this insect is harmless and will eventually die when found inside the home. However, its presence can be reduced through several household methods without the use of insecticides.
If you feel that your efforts are not producing results, contact an IRCAE expert for advice on how to control the infestation, or schedule an appointment for an effective treatment solution.
