Rats
What could be more surprising than discovering rats inside a home?
This is a particularly alarming situation that requires rapid intervention by a professional exterminator.
A typical case this week occurred in the Mount Royal area:
A client contacted us after hearing scratching and movement sounds inside the kitchen cabinet under the sink. When opening the cabinet door, they noticed that all cleaning products (containers and bottles) had been moved and found several small black droppings on the shelf.
That was enough for the client to call us immediately.
On site, our technician confirmed the presence of a rat by identifying the type of droppings found.
A visual inspection, both inside and outside the home, did not reveal the exact entry point. However, additional droppings were found in the basement near a bathtub.
ANALYSIS & INTERVENTION
Three key questions arise:
- How did rats get into the home?
- Where are they hiding inside the house?
- What can be done to solve the problem?
